THE WHY is a daring, improvising unit that constructs it’s pieces freely across the music and idea maps. In general, the why is by far the hardest of the questions to answer. It gets real through the moment to moment choices made independently together from scratch in the step-taking that constitutes the process of improvisation. Urge vs. consequence, individuality vs. duality, commitment vs. surrender etc.
